At Sneakerama we strive to keep our customers happy and satisfied. When you come to our store you will be greeted by one of our knowledgeable staff members and asked a few questions. What brings you in today? What type of footwear are you looking for and what are you looking to use them for? Are you having any foot issues? If so please let us know what they are and how we can help. Once any issues have been addressed we will measure your foot and preform a gait analysis. This allows us to see what foot type you have and how your body distributes pressure. We will then make several footwear suggestions based on your personal needs. Whether you are a pronator, supinator or somewhere in between, we have the shoe for you! We have extensive experience fitting customers who are diabetic, coming back from injuries, surgery, foot problems and many other concerns.
Sneakerama was founded in the Spring of 1978 by Louis, Helen and Steve Genatossio. It was one of the first all-athletic shoe stores in Massachusetts at a time when people thought you were crazy to sell athletic shoes and not dress shoes or sporting goods. From our humble beginnings of selling unboxed Converse All-Stars tied together and put in bins by size Sneakerama has become a destination location for the finest in specialty running shoes. The original premise was to open as a three-season store with shoes for the spring and summer, and then we started staying open for the fall for back-to-school gym shoes, and soon into winter for Christmas. We then realized that there was a true need for a year-round specialty shoe store. Through three generations, our fiercely independent family-owned business continues to grow and thrive with price, quality and service as our goal!

Whether you are as narrow as 2A, or as wide as a 6E, Sneakerama has your width and if we don’t have it we will get it for you at no extra charge.
How about knowledge?
Our expertise in footwear knowledge was gained by working over 40 years in an ever-changing industry. Our staff is continuously being trained on the biomechanics of footwear for specific concerns and injury prevention. Our level of product knowledge is one of the finest in the industry. Many of our staff have been invited to product development meetings with some of the best companies, such as New Balance and Asics. We are constantly updating their product knowledge through tech sessions and product literature to make sure you have the right footwear for your next adventure.
